This venue offers a seamless event experience. Whether you’re celebrating indoors in Armor Hall, or in a tent on the lawn, there’s a relaxed, natural progression as guests move through the garden after your ceremony and gather for cocktails overlooking the Hudson, then transition into the evening reception. Everything is within close proximity. Another aspect we love about a garden wedding is that the landscape does so much on its own, allowing the design to feel like an intentional extension of the setting, with layered details enhancing what is already there.

This budget breakdown is based on a 125-person guest list, though final costs will vary depending on your guest count, whether you book a tent or host your celebration indoors, design direction, catering, entertainment, rentals, and production needs. This specific breakdown is based on a wedding reception indoors in Armor Hall. If you want your wedding to be fully outdoors with a tent, expect this total budget to increase by 50%. Remember, Wave Hill is a raw space, meaning you have to bring in tables, chairs, rentals, linens, etc.
Florals: $15,000
This is a starting point. It will provide personal flowers and standard aisle and reception arrangements, but will not be over-the-top. Don’t worry, this floral budget will make a design impact though!
Stationery: $3,000
This is the cost for semi-custom stationery for a 125-guest wedding from an online platform.
It includes all paper goods for your wedding celebration.
Planner: $27,000
This cost is based on 15% of the total budget.
Cake: $2,000
Simple cutting cake. This covers the delivery fee as well.
Lighting & AV: $2,500
For the indoor space, lighting is a nice add on to enhance the ambiance, it is not necessary.

This cost includes musicians for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner + dancing.
Transportation: $7,000
This is a necessary expense in our opinion, for a relaxed experience for your guests. Plus, Ubers are not always readily available in the Bronx like they are in the city. This estimate will transfer your guests to and from the hotel block, and also includes a getaway car for the couple.
