As New York City wedding planners, we’ve worked at many of the most iconic New York wedding venues, but The Beekman New York is one that never loses its magic. Every time we return, it feels entirely new; shaped by the couple, their story, and the way they choose to celebrate. Carmela & Jonathan’s wedding day was refined, deeply personalized, and so heartfelt. A joy-filled wedding set within one of Manhattan’s most historic and architectural gems.

The morning began with Carmela and Jonathan getting ready inside The Beekman New York, tucked away in its highly appointed suites. Getting ready on-site allowed the day to flow effortlessly, keeping the experience relaxed and peaceful.

For their ceremony, Carmela & Jonathan chose one of The Beekman Hotel’s interior spaces, known for its architecture and charm. As an intimate wedding venue, The Beekman has a unique ability to make even a smaller guest count feel incredibly meaningful while still offering that unmistakable sense of grandeur.

Following their vows, guests transitioned seamlessly into a cocktail-style reception on the rooftop. Every detail reflected Carmela & Jonathan’s vision. Design choices that expressed their personalities, intentional simplicity, and an emphasis on connection over excess. Choosing a cocktail-style reception is a great way to keep your guests moving throughout the entire space, all evening long. A highlight of the evening was a mentalist who entertained guests outside of the dance floor. After their glowing reception with plenty of dancing, the energy kept going with an after party at the Beekman’s Laissez Faire. Carmela’s attire change and the couple’s photoshoot in both the hotel bathtub & the city streets were just a few moments we won’t forget.

Bringing Carmela & Jonathan’s vision to life at The Beekman New York was an absolute honor. Their wedding was a beautiful reminder of why this venue remains one of the most sought-after New York wedding venues. C&J were such a vibrant couple, so in love, and gave us a celebration we’ll be thinking about for a long time.
