Meghan & Riley’s September New York Wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

As wedding planners based in NYC, we always LOVE an outdoor celebration, and Meghan and Riley's September garden wedding reminded us exactly why. There’s something about a warm, romantic ceremony & that first sip at cocktail hour just as the sunset hits, all while being surrounded by nature.

Set against the lush greenery and blooms in the garden, it embodied everything we love about a romantic whimsical wedding: sun-kissed light, plenty of florals, and an intimate, magical atmosphere.

The day began with a getting-ready experience unhurried and personal. Meghan wore a gown that fit right in with the whimsical aesthetic, with its effortless, organic look. Her bridesmaids complemented the pastel palette.

The outdoor wedding ceremony took place against the iconic willow tree, with natural light filtering through the leaves. As one of the most beloved outdoor wedding ceremony spots in NYC, this setting required very little embellishment - the garden speaks for itself! That’s something we love about garden weddings.

Following the ceremony, guests were led to golden hour cocktails and a candlelit reception. The well-known glass house was brought to life with accents of pink & green and warm golden light, and the pastel wedding palette was carried through every detail. This created a cohesive aesthetic that felt playful yet elevated.
