An “Old-Hollywood”-Inspired Wedding Day with Bold Pops of Red at the River Café in NY

Nestled along the water with iconic, cozy views of the Brooklyn Bridge, The River Café in Brooklyn, NY provided the ideal backdrop for Kathleen & Maxwell’s romantic Spring wedding. From the moment guests stepped through the softly lit entrance, they were transported into a world of vintage glamour and cozy elegance. Bold reds and warm candlelight, and details adorned with stripes and bows cast an intimate glow across the restaurant’s classic interiors.

The rain didn’t stop the celebration. Kathleen & Maxwell exchanged heartfelt vows in the café’s private garden before continuing the celebration inside, where candlelit tables glowed in hues of crimson, burgundy, green, black, and cream. Strings and jazz filled the air during cocktail hour, setting a mood straight out of an Old-Hollywood film.

After a romantic reception with delicious food & heartfelt toasts, the couple & guests made their way to Parcelle for an effortlessly chic after-party. Kathleen’s sparkly mini, personalized pizza boxes for a late-night bite, and bright red heart balloons were just a few honorable mentions.
