Gary & Jason’s Outdoor Jewish Ceremony at Prospect Park Picnic House

As New York City wedding planners, we have planned many beautiful celebrations at the Prospect Park Picnic House, but this one was truly special. We had the absolute honor of bringing Gary & Jason’s dream day to life at one of the most classic settings for an outdoor ceremony in New York. Their celebration was joyful and intentional, filled with personal touches that reflected their love story.

Their Jewish ceremony took place just outside the Picnic House, making full use of the venue’s seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The space feels peaceful and serene, almost like you’re not even in New York City. It was especially meaningful for the couple and their families, honoring tradition while incorporating a few modern twists. Designed with white and yellow florals, the setting felt bright and warm from ceremony to reception. From their Ketubah signing to the chuppah beneath the trees, every detail felt so personal to G&J.

As the celebration continued inside, guests were welcomed into a room that felt intimate yet effortlessly fun. One of the most loved personal touches was the couple’s phone guestbook, where friends and family left heartfelt (and hilarious) voice messages throughout the night. Between emotional toasts, nonstop dancing, and the biggest smiles, Gary & Jason’s celebration was a beautiful reminder of why we love planning weddings in Brooklyn.
