C&J started their day getting ready at The Penny Hotel in Williamsburg, which was near the restaurant. This Rule of Thirds wedding blended warm tones, contemporary style, and a hint of playful eclecticism, like pastel palettes, textured floral installations, clean-lined tablescapes, and a celebration that felt so New York. One of our favorite details was the string lights and lanterns that created such a unique ambiance, and blended in so perfectly with the design of the venue. The beauty of a restaurant wedding is that, as long as you like the aesthetic of the setting, all you need are minimal accents like florals and lighting to really bring the space to life. Rule of Thirds has an ideal flow of events with a ceremony & reception space all within the restaurant, which isn’t always the case.
