As New York wedding planners, we have a deep love for grand wedding venues and if there is a wedding venue that lives rent-free in our minds daily, it is Weylin in Brooklyn. This New York wedding offers unique charm & character and is located in a historic setting in the heart of Brooklyn. Sarah & Alex’s classy wedding day here was nothing short of amazing. It would not have been possible without our incredible vendor team and great event staff at Weylin.
Sarah and Alex got married on May 4th, 2024. It started with a laidback, getting ready with their closest loved ones. They shared an intimate first look on a balcony over the city, then made their way to the venue for beautiful wedding portraits before the ceremony. In preparation for the formalities, they even took a couple of Fireball shots to ease their nerves!! scroll to see!
We love the layout of the ceremony space at Weylin in Brooklyn. It somehow feels intimate while still in such a large room with tall ceilings. After their “I do’s”, they enjoyed refreshing cocktails & delicious appetizers with guests. An honorable mention for Pinch Food Design’s presentation. They never fail to come up with modern & elevated ideas.
They then made their grand entrance into the ballroom with luminant ambiance, excited guests, and colorful bouquets. Speaking of the details, they made an ode to Star Wars with custom matchboxes on everyone’s place setting that read, “May the 4th Be With You”.
Immediately, they shared a first dance together, then enjoyed a few toasts and dinner. Once everyone was fed and had a bit more liquid courage, the dancefloor lit up! The band was so energetic, and that dance party could have lasted all night long. We loved Sarah’s sparkly, chic wedding dress change. It was such a moment!
