James Burden Mansion Wedding

Oh, this wedding. This wedding is stunning, breathtaking and unforgettable, but it was a challenge and filled with many logistics and very tiny details. I loved working with Xiaoran and Hua on their James Burden Mansion wedding (and now get to call them friends!). Xiaoran came to us with a vision and design for the day and we worked together to bring it to life. We’re so thankful to not only be part of this wedding, but for the vendor team that made this day happen. To all engaged couples, a strong vendor team is SO important.

The day started off with the couple getting ready at Gramercy Park Hotel (I even met the bride there for a stroll in the park—bucket list item!) followed by ceremony and reception for their 50 closest loved ones at the mansion. Devon & Pinkett brought to life the runway inspired decor, Marcia Selden Catering served work of art (and yummy) food and Nine Cakes delivered a hand painted victorian styled wedding cake.

There were so many rental and design vendors (see below) that supplied all of the fine details. The photographer, Nicole Ashley, was the real MVP by perfectly capturing this day. But one of my favorite elements of the evening was listing to jazz from Eden Lane Band (they play live often, check them out). Our team won’t forget this wedding for a while. Thanks for trusting us Xiaoran & Hua! xo
