Fall Housing Works Bookstore NYC Wedding

Congratulations to Evan and Nora! This fantastic couple held their ceremony and reception at Housing Works Bookstore. Housing Works fights aids and homelessness in NYC. Intellectually cute and humanitarian, how good is that?!? The couple handmade their chuppah, a canopy traditionally created for Jewish wedding ceremonies, to represent both Nora’s Jewish culture and Evan’s Japanese culture. When they sent their invitations, they asked guests to make origami cranes to be used both for the chuppah and the decor! Intellectual, artistic, and fun! Guests were not only able to show off their creative sides, they enjoyed themselves immensely underneath twinkly lights and eating delicious food from Pies n Thighs -- weddings are traditionally known for cake, but Nora and Evan’s had pie!
