Shenorock Shore Club Rye New York Wedding

Congrats to Megan & Matt! Their ceremony was touching and so sweet, taking place at the Church of the Resurrection. The guests and couple then migrated to Shenorock Shore Club, where they were greeted by a splendid view of the ocean on a moody September day. Megan looked beautiful in her lacey wedding dress and Matt rocked customized suspenders. Everybody had so much fun dancing underneath twinkling lights and eating a beautiful-to-look at, delicious-to-taste cake decorated with flamingos cake toppers (who doesn’t love flamingos?!?). Champagne was poured, bridesmaids donned gorgeous pale blue gowns, and meaningful, tender speeches were given.

Prospect Park Picnic House Brooklyn Wedding

Congratulations to Barbara & Bill! This perfect-for-each-other couple invited their friends and family from all over the world to celebrate with them at Prospect Park Picnic House. The ceremony, taking place in the early afternoon, was moved indoors, but that didn’t stop any of the festivities! Instead of a registry, the couple requested donations to their favorite charities. The flowers, following the event, were given to a nursing home. We loved that they made the celebration about them plus giving back to charities that they constantly support.

Frankies 457 Brooklyn Fall Wedding

Hannah and Scott were married and celebrated at Frankies 457 in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. We love this venue! Talk about good food and great company! Prior to the festivities at Frankies, the couple had their first look and portrait session in their gorgeous backyard garden. Both the ceremony and celebration were highly personalized and included many people special to their lives. Scott’s cousin married them, several friends and family members gave tender and touching speeches, and they concluded the evening with a cake cutting in traditional Korean dress to honor Hannah’s heritage. Cheers to Hannah & Scott!

Harlem Stage Gatehouse Wedding

Allison and Andy got married (and celebrated) at the Harlem Stage Gatehouse. It was such a fun, colorful wedding that really represented the couple. The venue was selected off location. They wanted to show the neighborhood to all of their guests since they live close and Andy just finished grad school at the nearby City College. The food was brought in from a nearby Italian restaurant. After dinner guests enjoyed cigars, a coffee bar, desserts and so much dancing to 90s music.

James Burden Mansion Wedding

Oh, this wedding. This wedding is stunning, breathtaking and unforgettable, but it was a challenge and filled with many logistics and very tiny details. I loved working with Xiaoran and Hua on their James Burden Mansion wedding (and now get to call them friends!). Xiaoran came to us with a vision and design for the day and we worked together to bring it to life. We’re so thankful to not only be part of this wedding, but for the vendor team that made this day happen. To all engaged couples, a strong vendor team is SO important. The day started off with the couple getting ready at Gramercy Park Hotel (I even met the bride there for a stroll in the park - bucket list item!) followed by ceremony and reception for their 50 closest loved ones at the mansion. Devon & Pinkett brought to life the runway inspired decor, Marcia Selden Catering served work of art (and yummy) food and Nine Cakes delivered a hand painted victorian styled wedding cake. There were so many rental and design vendors (see below) that supplied all of the fine details. The photographer, Nicole Ashley, was the real MVP by perfectly capturing this day. But one of my favorite elements of the evening was listing to jazz from Eden Lane Band (they play live often, check them out). Our team won’t forget this wedding for a while. Thanks for trusting us Xiaoran & Hua! xo
