Harold Pratt House Wedding NYC

Meridith and Justin are the sweetest couple ever. They have been together since high school. All of their guests could not have been more happy for them and their marriage. They had their first look on the streets near their venue, Harold Pratt House. We’re still gushing over their adorable portraits. Their wedding decor was kept simple and elegant with white flowers, clean tables and candle light. The guests enjoyed ceremony music from Stirling Strings, yummy food from Purslane catering and danced the evening away.

Prospect Park Boathouse Wedding

We absolutely loved this budding, colorful, sweet wedding! The floral themed beauty was all designed by the bride, who also dropped hints of her German heritage throughout the wedding. The brides-people all wore florals, and everyone braved the hot June sun for pictures in Prospect Park. The lakefront ceremony was so picturesque (check out the heart-shaped centerpiece, handmaid by the groom). The sit down dinner at the Prospect Park Boathouse included German pretzels and jagermeister specialty cocktails. What a gorgeous, flowery wedding!

Queens Botanical Garden Wedding

Everyone--even the weather--pulled out all the stops for this May wedding at the Queens Botanical Garden. Iliana was so creative! She made the bouquets for her and sister, and did her own hair and makeup. Iliana and Eduardo met for first looks in front of the gorgeous Wedding Garden--on the only dry weekend in May! They took photos on the garden’s 40-acre grounds, where the trees were full of white flowering buds that looked just liked the white lace on Iliana’s dress. So romantic! The reception featured an enormous Dominican feast with 15 different dishes, enough for everyone to take home leftovers. Oh, and did we mention there was a light-up inflatable photo booth?

Prospect Park Picnic House Wedding

So many personal touches on this cozy Prospect Park wedding! The couple traveled from San Francisco to have their big day in the warm, cheerful New York City springtime. Madeline looked amazing in her classy, simple dress and combined it with a cool and edgy leather jacket for photos in the park. The couple read their vows in front of a giant lit fireplace at the Prospect Park Picnic House. They were surrounded by flowers arranged by Matt’s mom and other DIY decorations, including the invites, maps, and menus which were hand drawn by the mother of the bride. Everything added up a cozy, romantic experience, ending with the couple and their guests dancing the night away under beautiful twinkle lights.

Aurora Brooklyn Wedding

This is still one of my favorite weddings. It’s obviously beautiful, leaned into every trend (hello, cheese cloth runners!), and it was captured beautifully. You can really feel the day unfold. I work at Aurora a lot and the space is so beautiful on its own that not much is needed. Cherise and Dan capitalized on that and added personalized touches throughout the space to make it their own.
